Mr Pee-Body and Miss Poop-see

There was once a joke about Indian people urinating anywhere and everywhere. So true it was, wasn't it.

Many of us, am very sure, must have exercised this right to pee freely many times. Needless to say that this is one of the most frequently exercised right.

We (esp males) can urinate anywhere. You stop the bus, you stop the car, you are in the market, you are standing next to the public urinal (you won't do it in the urinal).

As a child while going on long road journeys, it used to be a great pastime for me to count the number of "uncles" found urinating on the way. Hilariously, the count exceeded 20 always.

Obviously for people to put up photos of Gods on walls or posting the very common, "Gadhe k poot yaha na moot", there had to be a solid reason.

And then, the ladies why should I leave you, you have this obsession to keep the toilets as filthy as possible, not flushing your poop or just leaving behind that used pad of yours. And how can I forget, some had this habit of urinating in the bathroom.
Also, as funny as it may sound, sometimes the way the potty had been done (spreadi all around), I used to wonder what the girl had been doing (TIC).

I remember how insanely I went about putting self written and really demeaning posters in my college hostel so that girls got some sense.

And this was not restricted to the college alone, I have observed the same in big parties too. All dressed up showing off the jewels, but when it comes to the toilet sense, well we score negative, a zero is still a big score.

And how can I forget, the common ground for both the genders, the trains.
I seriously fail to understand, what pleasure people derive out of urinating next to the urinal and not flushing their "potty"!
Scientists should really research on the thrill the formers derive out of leaving this adventure for the fellow mates.

And yeah, when it comes to the poor little kids, cmon now;they are made to pee in the washbasin many times or on the toilet seat.
Sick parents I must say!!

All these, people of affluent families with great degrees to their names. Shameless indeed because we end up blaming the not so educated ones for spoiling it all.

We blame about the lack of public toilets, we blame about the lack of cleanliness there, we blame "people" for leaving a mess in there; little do we realise that the people are actually us.

Its high time that we realise that putting on all that makeup and dressing in suits isn't the "it" thing, a cleaner you has much more importance than that.

(Confused Genius is thinking about floating a party soon, the Aam Shauchalay Party ;  maybe that will help)

  1. Great observation friend.. We as a fast paced developing country, are still facing this mental problem of leaving the adventure (as u mentioned above) to others.
