because I AM SO NOT INTERESTED

(for clearing out any confusion that guys may have about girls) Dear guys, please stop being so impossible now .  This “hasi to phasi” attitude is not applicable to this generation that we are proudly a part of. We have studied together, have been great friends and we have shared our moments irrespective of the gender we have. I know, and to be very honest you also know that the enigma, the charisma your opposite sex that is we females have, has always entranced you beyond limits. You have always had this unprecedented urge to try on us and at the very least, be “good friends”. You have unnecessarily pampered us, helped us with our works, and been extra nice just to get your names etched in our good books. But this is all well till you stand a chance with us. Once you know you do not, every nicety is a passé. And suddenly we become the one who initiated the conversation, who “used” you for numerous benefits and again, “pyar ka punchnama” comes to your rescue. Honestly we

Of Love…AND Kush!!!

(The views expressed by the author are based on experiences surely not her's :D :P) All the time I was single, I used to look at those happy couples holding hands and enjoying being with each other. Now I am in their place and I won’t say I am any different. I love my life to the hilt and my guy/girl is so perfect. We love each other a lot and life was never this good ever. Now this was just the beginning, I’ll tell you what happens next. It is a general tendency, everyone likes to know new people and sometimes when this liking extends beyond a limit, they start believing that it is love. Sometimes it is love too but then there is a thing we call as “CHANGE” and there is another thing we call “MONOTONY”. Then comes a time when we meet other people and sometimes we find them really good, better than the previous ones and we think it is love now and the earlier one was a mistake. Or sometimes it so happens that options (proposals) come our way and we feel that wish

An Ode to a MAN

Starting with “I do not know what”, I really do not know what to write, how to express what is going through my mind. Its like I am feeling so numb, so not-exactly lifeless but still I know that there is some part of mine that is missing. This piece is an ode to the amazing person, a true human being who I really know; I am blessed to have known. The person, I wasn’t really close to Him and its not that I have known Him for all my life; I have known him for just about 5-6 years but this was enough for me to revere Him for forever or being just Him. The Man, no more now but He left just the way He had always lived; calm, happy, oblivious to the world and all by Him. This Man; He stood for everyone, did beyond the boundaries for all and never expected anything in return. A life not really short but neither too long, He was the man cherished by all. For happiness was what His aura spelled. He was truly one of a kind. Honestly, I do not share many fond memories with Him but His

Dear Mr. MINISTER,

Your people’s audacity has always been “infamous”; you guys have always been saying things that are YES!  Very true but definitely not endearing to our ears. You people blatantly mocked at us; definitely somewhere in our hearts we know that well. Agreed we can buy an expensive mobile or car or go for an ice cream or buy mineral water but still we frown about every single price rise. Why shouldn’t we. Its our birth right and we are entitled to speak up against anything we find to be infringing upon our right to feel good. Now I would use a simple logic to affirm how miscalculated your dialogue was. Do you really think that people binge on ice creams every day?? Do you think mobile phones come with a “you have to pay $200 everyday” price tag?? My dear Sir, do you even know that there is something called investment and another thing called daily need and a third thing called, “once in a while fun”. The daily necessities, the fruits and vegetables, the petrol we use in our sco
